The Call for Proposals for the PyData Virginia 2025 conference is now open! The conference is happening April 18-19 in Charlottesville, Virginia, and we’re inviting community members to submit proposals for both talks and tutorials. The submission deadline is February 10, 2025.
We encourage submissions from first-time speakers and welcome talks with multiple presenters — collaboration is always a plus! Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a passionate newcomer, or anywhere in between, your voice is important to us.
Speaker Perks
All selected speakers will receive a free ticket to the conference, granting full access to talks, workshops, and networking opportunities.
In addition to sharing your ideas with hundreds of fellow data enthusiasts at the conference, we plan to create recordings of all talks and tutorials. The videos will be published on the PyData YouTube channel, which has over 100,000 subscribers around the world.
Speaking at conferences is one of the very best ways to demonstrate your skills and expertise, build your professional network, and connect with people and organizations who can help you advance your career.
