Speak at the 2026 RVATech Data & AI Summit
Submit your talk proposal by December 1 for Richmond's annual data & AI event
Our friends in Richmond are seeking speakers for their big annual event, the RVATech Data & AI Summit! The summit will be on March 26, 2026, at the Science Museum of Virginia. Their Call for Proposals is currently open and accepting submissions:
It would be great to see members of the Charlottesville Data Science community on stage in Richmond! Their organizing committee is looking for proposals for lightning talks, standard conference talks, and workshops/demos in four tracks:
Foundations: Core practices and approaches that strengthen data foundations, lessons learned in building and maintaining reliable systems, or perspectives that help organizations move from basics to readiness for AI
Frontiers: Emerging tools, technologies, and methods; forward-looking insights into where data and AI are headed; or explorations of challenges and opportunities at the edge of the field
Applied Brilliance: Examples of tools or techniques in action, practical lessons from experimentation or implementation, or showcases that make the abstract tangible
Virginia AI in Action: Stories of AI in production in Virginia, highlights of regional innovation, or lessons learned from real-world projects and partnerships.
Even if your proposal doesn’t fit into one of these tracks neatly, the summit organizing committee would still love to consider it.
The deadline to submit proposals is December 1, 2025.
